This title sequence for Sherlock Holmes (2009) translates its narrative themes into a structured visual system driven by rhythm, precision, and mechanical logic. Set in industrial 19th-century London, it visualizes Holmes’ mind as a modular, machine-like system, where gears, blueprints, and fragmented evidence assemble and disassemble in a clockwork motion language.
I created a series of original black-and-white illustrations inspired by gears, blueprints, Victorian machinery, and fragmented evidence. I then animated them through grid-based compositions and industrial typography, building a cinematic visual system that connects narrative, illustration, and motion.
